Hyatt Regency Delhi announced the appointment of two dynamic leaders to its executive team. Richa Trikha has been named director of sales, and Koyena Chatterjee has taken on the role of director of events. These strategic appointments reflect Hyatt Regency Delhi’s commitment to enhancing guest experiences and driving growth through innovative sales and event management strategies.

Richa Trikha brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success in the hospitality and aviation industries. With a career spanning over a decade, Trikha has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills. Her tenure at Hyatt Regency Delhi began in 2018, where she has held various roles, culminating in her recent promotion to Director of Sales.

Before joining Hyatt, Trikha had an extensive career in aviation, having worked as a cabin crew member for Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines. During her time in aviation, she developed strong customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace. These experiences have significantly contributed to her ability to manage and exceed client expectations in the hospitality sector.

At Hyatt Regency Delhi, Trikha’s expertise lies in developing comprehensive sales strategies, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Her responsibilities include leading a team of associates to achieve ambitious sales targets, formulating innovative strategies, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Trikha’s previous roles at Hyatt Regency Delhi include associate director of sales and senior sales manager, where she excelled in market research, event handling, and team management.

Koyena Chatterjee joins the leadership team as the director of events, bringing over 15 years of extensive experience in event management and F&B operations. Chatterjee has been with Hyatt Regency Delhi since 2016, steadily rising through the ranks due to her exceptional skills in event planning, vendor negotiations, and team leadership. Her promotion to director of events follows her successful tenure as associate director of event sales.

In her new role, Chatterjee will oversee the planning and execution of high-profile events, manage event sales, and work closely with the banquet team to ensure the highest quality of service. Her experience in managing large-scale events, developing budget and marketing plans, and fostering long-term client relationships will be instrumental in elevating the event experience at Hyatt Regency Delhi, said an official release.
