Greece’s Corfu Holiday Palace unveils major renovations with upgraded rooms, enhanced amenities, and new dining experiences, redefining luxury island hospitality.
During the winter of 2024–2025, the iconic Corfu Holiday Palace underwent an extensive series of renovations and technical upgrades, reinforcing its commitment to offering top-tier hospitality and modern amenities. The landmark hotel, in operation since 1976, has redefined comfort and elegance with significant enhancements made across the property.
Among the most notable improvements was the complete modernization of the electromechanical systems, ensuring improved efficiency and guest comfort throughout the hotel. In response to rising seasonal temperatures, air conditioning was installed in all shared areas, greatly enhancing the indoor experience for guests.
The Main Restaurant received a major overhaul—both in style and functionality—with updated lighting, new furnishings, and a brand-new climate control system. The adjacent central kitchen was also fully renovated and now features state-of-the-art culinary equipment, supporting the hotel’s renowned gastronomy.
Common area restrooms were upgraded with modern aesthetics and improved accessibility, including the addition of an ADA-compliant bathroom. The reception area was redesigned with refined marble finishes and contemporary furniture, elevating the guest welcome experience.
A standout part of the renovation was the complete transformation of the 5th floor, led by a prominent architectural firm. Rooms now feature upgraded bathrooms and an elegant, modern design. The 2nd and 3rd floors also saw comprehensive room refurbishments. Plans are underway to further enhance the beachfront and outdoor bar areas, continuing the hotel’s evolution.
Staff facilities were also prioritized, with the expansion of employee accommodations to 50 rooms, alongside the addition of new communal areas to improve working conditions and service quality.
The Corfu Holiday Palace offers 265 rooms of various categories, many with spectacular views of Mouse Island and the Ionian Sea. Its facilities include two expansive communal pools—an indoor option and an outdoor seawater pool—plus eight private and semi-private pools, catering to a wide range of guest preferences.
Dining experiences have also been elevated with five diverse venues:
- Eptanissa Main Restaurant (buffet-style)
- Kukutsi Sushi Bar
- La Veranda Di Corfu (fine dining)
- Almira Pool Bar Restaurant
- Brachera Beach Bar Restaurant
For events and business needs, the hotel offers seven conference and exhibition halls with a total capacity of 1,400 attendees, making it a prime destination for corporate gatherings and social functions.
The wellness facilities have been enhanced with new spa treatments and beachfront therapy zones, while fitness enthusiasts can make use of the fully equipped gym.
