We want more people to come and experience our hotel: Pratiti Rajpal, hoteldealers.in

Pratiti Rajpal, general manager of Ronil Goa, a JdV by Hyatt Hotel.Completing one year on December 18, 2024, Ronil Goa – A JdV by Hyatt Hotel, the first JdV property has had an interesting first year and Pratiti Rajpal, the general manager of the property—who shares her birth date with her hotel—spoke to Sourceabout how they performed.“2024 has been an insightful journey towards creating awareness for the first JdV by Hyatt Hotel in India, led by experimentation and agile ways of working. The uphill task was to connect with our ‘young at heart’ target audiences across the domestic and international markets, and we have come a long way on that in 2024, and will only go upwards in 2025. Since our strategy was to drive awareness, our focus has been on occupancies as we want more guests to come and experience the JdV by Hyatt Goa vibe because that is what is truly unique,” Rajpal said. The first year of operations was always full of adventures and learnings, and Rajpal felt it was heartening to look back and realise how they were able to stay consistent on their commitment towards personalised experiences, local community engagement, beverage forward offerings and creating a destination for the young at heart. Their guest reviews are a testament to our promise of celebrating the joy of life with heart and soul, Rajpal said adding she was most proud of the free-spirited colleagues at Ronil Goa, who were the best brand ambassadors in bringing the purpose of care to life.“We will continue to enhance the unique onsite experiences that our guests love and ensure we have new reasons for them to keep coming back. The roadmap for 2025 is very simple – we continue doing what we do best – caring for our guests, colleagues and owners by being agile, empathetic and efficient in all that we do,” Rajpal said of the future, adding that Ronil Goa had become a preferred destination for special milestone celebrations and reunions, and that was a space they would want to strengthen their presence further.“We are grateful for the support and guidance we have received from our hotels in Goa as well as the fraternity who embraced us as their own in a short span. It’s been a year filled with happy memories, new friendships and a lot of collaboration and synergies,” she added. Looking forward to 2025, Rajpal said, “We are looking forward to a year filled with more synergies to help us operate with excellence, growth and development for our colleagues within the Hyatt family and many more happy celebrations with our guests, leading to more awareness and increased share of business for JdV by Hyatt Goa”.
