Vietnam’s Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Nguyen Van Hung, held a strategic meeting with Hollywood filmmakers to discuss an upcoming film project, reinforcing cultural and cinematic cooperation between Vietnam and the United States.

The high-profile discussion included prominent Vietnamese officials such as Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Ho An Phong; Chairman of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh; Director of the Department of Cinema Dang Tran Cuong; Director of International Cooperation Nguyen Phuong Hoa; and other representatives from Hải Phòng’s cultural and tourism sector, Hanoi Tourism Corporation (Hanoitourist), and Oxalis Adventure.

Leading the Hollywood team were Ms. Rose Lam, Global Executive Producer at Riot Studios (Riot Games), and Mr. Nicholas Simon, CEO of Indochina Productions. The delegation explored potential filming locations and discussed collaboration opportunities with Vietnamese authorities.

Riot Studios, currently planning a new production, conducted extensive location scouting across Asia, including Japan, South Korea, and Thailand. Ultimately, the team identified Cát Bà Archipelago (Hải Phòng) as the most suitable site for their upcoming film.
