Hilton has unveiled the signing of eight more properties in Turkey, reinforcing its burgeoning presence in the country and marking Turkey as one of its focus markets for its global hospitality strategy. The newly signed hotels vary from trendy urban hubs to historically historic cultural venues and will be owned and franchised under several of Hilton’s flagship brands, including Curio Collection, Tapestry Collection, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, and Hampton by Hilton.

The addition is part of Hilton’s long-term plan to expand its presence in the burgeoning tourism environment of Türkiye, where it has over 120 hotels in operation and development. Through the expansion, Hilton expands its presence in the region and further solidifies its role in supporting the changing travel landscape of the nation.

New Hotels in Türkiye

Cappadocia: Curio Collection by Hilton – Elika Cave Suites

Hilton is getting ready to introduce its first cave hotel in Turkey with the soon-to-open Elika Cave Suites in Ortahisar in the centre of Cappadocia—an area established as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famed for its otherworldly volcanic landscapes. The one-of-a-kind property will be comprised of 36 stylishly created guest rooms incorporated into ancient cave structures, combining heritage with contemporary convenience. Guests will enjoy the full range of high-end amenities, including rooftop terraces with stunning vistas, lavish spa, multiple indoor and outdoor pools, and cozy dining venues. Perfectly located just beneath the historic Ortahisar Castle, the hotel is close to the action and just an hour’s drive from Kayseri Erkilet Airport, a main entry point to the area.

Istanbul: Tapestry Collection – Palazzo Donizetti

Located in the classic Pera neighborhood of Istanbul, the 79-room hotel will be part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection by combining timeless heritage with contemporary convenience. With Taksim Square within a minute’s walk, the hotel will have nostalgic piano lounge, all-day restaurant, signature Italian restaurant, and wellness centre including the traditional Turkish bath and indoor pool.

Izmir: Tapestry Collection – Hotel Konak Izmir

A July 2026 opening is planned for the 92-room Hotel Konak Izmir, the newest addition to the cosmopolitan seafront in the Aegean city. Guests will have the benefits of gulf views from the rooftop restaurant, wellness areas featuring Turkish Bath and sauna, and meeting rooms—all close to the centre of the Konak area.

Izmir: DoubleTree by Hilton – Izmir Karsiyaka

Also opening in 2026, this hotel will offer 153 rooms in the Karsiyaka district. The property will include a large events space for up to 1,000 attendees, indoor pool, spa, and excellent transport links to İzmir Airport and city centre via nearby rail and road networks.

Edirne: DoubleTree by Hilton

The historic city of Edirne in northwest Türkiye will see its first Hilton property with a 94-room hotel, designed for both business and leisure travellers. It will offer meeting spaces, a terrace restaurant, and a fitness centre, enhancing the city’s appeal as a tourism and events destination.

Mersin: Hilton Garden Inn – Mersin Forum

The 100-room hotel is scheduled to launch in October 2026 in the Mersin city centre near the largest shopping mall and harbour in the city. The hotel will attract business and leisure tourists by offering restaurant and meeting space along with exposure to the cultural activities and venues in the city.

Samsun: Hilton Garden Inn

Planned for late 2027, Hilton Garden Inn Samsun will introduce 160 rooms opposite the city’s main port and industrial zone. It will include a multi-function room, restaurant, bar, and gym. The location offers convenient access to Samsun-Çarşamba Airport, with connections to Türkiye’s major cities.

Midyat: Hampton by Hilton

Soon to be the first global branded hotel in Midyat, this 82-room Hampton hotel will offer modern amenities like a fitness studio and meeting room. Guests will also receive free breakfast. Situated just minutes from the 2,000-year-old Matiate archaeological site, the hotel complements the tourism infrastructure in Midyat.

Revitalizing a Legacy

Side by side with these newest openings, the historic Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus is undergoing a massive $80 million renovation, modernizing rooms and public areas but retaining its classic elegance.

Strengthening Türkiye’s Hospitality Future

Boasting a varied blend of business, leisure, and cultural amenities, the newest Hilton hotels strive to cater to the needs of all types of travelers to Türkiye. From the cultural richness of Cappadocia and Midyat to the cosmopolitan centers of Istanbul and Izmir, the new hotels reflect Hilton’s dedication to contributing to tourism and regional economic development in the country.
