Pegasus Airlines has been recognized with the prestigious accolade of having the second-youngest aircraft fleet in the world for 2025, in the category of airlines operating over 100 aircraft. The award, presented by ch-aviation, highlights Pegasus Airlines’ ongoing commitment to modernizing its fleet and reinforcing its reputation as a forward-thinking, fuel-efficient carrier.

Having previously ranked as the fourth-youngest fleet globally in 2024, Pegasus has significantly advanced its position by continuing to integrate state-of-the-art aircraft into its operations. The airline remains focused on acquiring next-generation aircraft that enhance fuel efficiency while aligning with its broader sustainability goals.

With an extensive network spanning 146 destinations across 53 countries, Pegasus Airlines has been strategically expanding its fleet to support its growing route map. As of December 31, 2024, the airline’s fleet comprises 118 aircraft, boasting an impressively young average age of 4.5 years. This investment in newer aircraft is pivotal in achieving its sustainability objectives, including its commitment to net-zero emissions by 2050. By operating modern, fuel-efficient aircraft, the airline effectively reduces its environmental footprint and enhances passenger comfort.

Pegasus Airlines continues to bolster its future capabilities with a robust order book. The airline is set to receive deliveries from its Airbus A320 family order, which consists of 150 aircraft, progressively arriving until 2029. In addition to this, Pegasus made a historic move in December 2024 by securing an agreement with Boeing for 200 Boeing 737-10 aircraft—100 firm orders and 100 optional units—with deliveries scheduled from 2029 onward.
