Nightjet’s “mini cabins” offer privacy but are compact, with passengers often paying around €100 (£85) for a single berth in a shared cabin. Although this option is more affordable than many luxury trains, Nox aims to offer a more spacious, flexible, and private alternative at similar or lower prices.

Other competitors in the market include European Sleeper, a Netherlands-based operator offering services from Amsterdam to Prague. However, European Sleeper’s trains are often criticized for outdated facilities, and customer reviews indicate that many travelers prefer more modern, comfortable options.
