Fernandes brings a wealth of experience from his earlier roles at Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road and Ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road, where he successfully managed IT operations for an inventory of 526 rooms.In his previous positions, Fernandes excelled in several key areas, including operational systems support, IT strategy & planning, business continuity & disaster recovery, etc. His responsibilities included ensuring smooth operations of technology infrastructure and systems to support various business functions. He holds a diploma in computer hardware & networking, which complements his extensive practical knowledge in the field.Novotel Goa Resort & Spa and Novotel Goa Candolim present unique IT opportunities that Fernandes will need to address, particularly ensuring that technology supports business operations, optimises efficiency, and enhances the user experience. His duties will also include ensuring cybersecurity and data protection, managing budgets, vendor relationships, and costs and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and innovations.Fernandes will also lead several upcoming technology initiatives aimed at maintaining a competitive edge in a technology-driven landscape, including projects focused on cloud services and AI.”We are excited to welcome Joy to the Novotel Goa team.
