Key Intercontinental Route Expansions
KLM is expanding its services to several popular intercontinental destinations:
- Tanzania: The airline is increasing its service to Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam to daily flights, up from five per week.
- Las Vegas: The frequency to this iconic American city will increase to daily through August, ensuring greater availability for travelers looking to experience the entertainment capital of the world.
- Osaka: From late September, KLM will offer five weekly flights to Osaka, adding an extra flight to meet growing demand.
- Tokyo Narita: KLM will introduce one additional weekly flight from late September to cater to the strong demand for travel to Japan’s capital.
- Edmonton: During peak season, the airline will increase flights to Edmonton, offering five weekly flights, increasing to six during the busiest times of the year.
- Cape Town: KLM is expanding its service to South Africa, adding two extra weekly flights to Cape Town starting in October.
- Curaçao: Starting in October, there will be an additional Sunday flight to Curaçao, providing even more options for travelers looking to visit the Caribbean.

- Belfast: The airline will now offer twice-daily flights, making it easier for passengers to visit the vibrant city in Northern Ireland.
- Porto: With an increase to four daily flights, travelers can now enjoy greater flexibility when booking flights to this beautiful Portuguese city.
- Barcelona: KLM is adding one more daily flight to Barcelona, offering additional options for travelers heading to Spain’s iconic coastal city.
- Split: The airline will offer twice-daily flights to Split in the spring and autumn, providing more options for those wanting to visit the stunning Croatian coast.
- Krakow and Poznan: KLM will introduce one additional daily flight to both Krakow and Poznan, expanding its presence in Poland and providing more travel opportunities for business and leisure travelers alike.
- Milan Linate: In a move to improve service efficiency, KLM will consolidate all of its Milan flights at Linate Airport, which is closer to the city center. As a result, flights to Malpensa will be discontinued, providing passengers with an even more convenient airport option when flying to and from Milan.
