The Lufthansa Group app has been upgraded with several innovative functions designed to enhance travel comfort and convenience for all passengers. Among the new features are faster flight searches and a more efficient booking process, making it easier than ever to plan your journey.

Passengers are encouraged to download the Lufthansa Group Airlines app and create a Travel ID profile. This digital identity simplifies the entire travel process by storing personal data and integrating travel documents for future and past bookings. The Travel ID also offers personalized information, such as tailored suggestions and solutions in the event of travel disruptions. With over 15 million users already on board, the Travel ID is a growing trend among Lufthansa Group travelers.

One of the app’s most significant upgrades includes the ability to check ESTA travel authorization during the online check-in process. This step reduces pre-trip hassle, especially for travelers heading to the United States. The app also boasts an enhanced passport scan feature, which allows travelers to upload their passport details with ease, ensuring a smoother check-in process.
