Karnataka Tourism is excited to participate in the MITT Moscow 2025, a prominent international travel and tourism fair in Russia. Scheduled from March 18-20, 2025, at Moscow’s Crocus Expo, this event will allow Karnataka to display its rich cultural heritage, stunning natural beauty, and distinctive travel offerings to an international audience.

Leading the delegation is Ms. Salma K Fahim, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, along with other dignitaries and key stakeholders. This initiative is aimed at boosting Karnataka’s visibility in the Russian and global tourism sectors and enhancing partnerships with industry leaders.

Karnataka is known for its striking variety, from historic sites and spiritual havens to picturesque landscapes and adventurous tourism options. The state is home to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the architectural wonders of Hampi, Pattadakal, and the Hoysala temples at Belur and Halebidu.

The Western Ghats, listed as a UNESCO biosphere, cut across the state, offering verdant expanses and charming hill stations such as Coorg and Chikmagalur, famous for their coffee. Bengaluru, the bustling capital known as India’s Silicon Valley, is a vibrant blend of modernity and rich cultural traditions. The state’s untouched coastal belt includes destinations like Murudeshwara, Gokarna, and Karwar, known for their tranquil beaches and sacred sites.

For wildlife lovers, Karnataka offers a retreat with its 25 wildlife sanctuaries and five national parks such as Bandipur, Bannerghatta, and Nagarhole, which are perfect for eco-tourism and wildlife safaris.

The Karnataka Tourism Pavilion at MITT Moscow will offer visitors a chance to meet with tourism representatives, discover custom travel plans, packages, and opportunities for investing in Karnataka’s booming tourism industry. This participation highlights Karnataka’s commitment to enhancing its international tourism relations and broadening its influence in the Russian and European markets.
