Increase in Flight Frequencies on Route Rome–Bangkok

Currently, ITA Airways operates three weekly flights on its Bangkok route — every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday — using the modern Airbus A330-900neo. The aircraft features a spacious three-class layout accommodating 281 passengers, with 28 seats designated for Business Class, another 28 for Premium Economy, and 225 seats allocated to the Economy section.

Outbound flight AZ758 departs from Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) at 3:10 local time and lands at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) at 8:10 a.m. the next day. The return trip, AZ759, departs from Bangkok at 12:15 p.m. and lands in Rome at 6:55 p.m. Its flight days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Starting from October 27, 2025, to align with the launch of its winter timetable, ITA Airways plans to expand its Rome–Bangkok service to five weekly flights.The expanded service will include departures on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Subsequently, from December 1, 2025, the service will convert to a full daily operation. The increment will continue until March 2026, retaining the identical departure and arrival times, providing travelers increased convenience in the peak cold-weather travel period.

All Rome-Bangkok flights will still be served with the Airbus A330-900neo, a next-generation long-haul aircraft characterized by maximum fuel efficiency and cabin comfort.
