The Israel Ministry of Tourism has appointed Galit Hoffman as the new Consul for Tourism Affairs in India, marking a significant move to enhance bilateral tourism collaboration. The Israel Ministry of Tourism has appointed Galit Hoffman as its Consul for Tourism Affairs in India, marking a significant step in strengthening tourism relations between the two countries.

Galit brings a wealth of experience in diplomacy, strategic communications, international market expansion, and leadership within the private sector. She previously worked at the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi as the Spokesperson and later as the Deputy Defense Attaché, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing Israel-India cooperation. In the corporate sector, she also spearheaded sales and product marketing efforts for the Indian market at Mobileye, a global frontrunner in automotive safety and smart mobility.

With her extensive professional and cultural understanding of India, Galit is uniquely positioned to lead Israel’s tourism promotion strategy in the region. In her new role, she will collaborate with travel industry professionals, airlines, media, and digital platforms to elevate Israel’s image as a dynamic and diverse travel destination.
