IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in the hospitality industry, has announced the signing of three new hotel projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Future Hospitality Summit Riyadh 2025. In collaboration with Ashaad, a prominent Saudi real estate developer, the new hotels—Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate, InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra, and voco Al Khobar Al Andalus—strengthen IHG’s commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s ambitious tourism goals and its Vision 2030 initiative.
Set to open between 2028 and 2030, these three hotels will add over 1,700 rooms to IHG’s rapidly expanding portfolio in the Kingdom. The properties will operate under IHG’s management agreements, further enhancing the company’s presence in key cities across Saudi Arabia.
InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra
With 326 luxury rooms, InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra promises to set a new standard for high-end hospitality in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Located next to the prestigious Al Shubaily Grand Mall, the hotel will offer world-class amenities and service, embodying the luxury synonymous with the InterContinental brand. Al Khobar remains one of the most vibrant and growing markets in the region, making this new hotel an ideal destination for both business and leisure travelers in the Dammam metropolitan area.
voco Al Khobar Al Andalus
voco, IHG’s rapidly expanding premium brand, is known for its distinctive character and exceptional guest experiences. The voco Al Khobar Al Andalus, featuring 717 elegantly designed rooms, will blend the brand’s signature style with a premium hospitality offering. Situated near popular attractions such as the Corniche, the hotel will deliver on voco’s core values of ‘Come on in,’ ‘Me time,’ and ‘voco life,’ providing both business and leisure guests with a perfect retreat in the heart of Al Khobar.
Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate
Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate will boast 700 rooms and is strategically located within a vibrant mixed-use development that includes residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. Positioned just a short distance from the historic Al Balad District, Jeddah Central Development, and the Royal Court, the hotel will cater to the growing demand for contemporary, lifestyle-focused hospitality in southern Jeddah. Guests can expect a unique, culturally immersive experience, reflecting the rich history and diverse community of the area.

IHG presently manages 45 hotels in Saudi Arabia under six distinct brands, such as InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites, and voco. Additionally, the company has 49 hotels in its development pipeline, expected to open within the next three to five years.
