Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), announced the signing of a new Taj hotel in Gurugram, Haryana. This greenfield project will be branded as Taj, marking the company’s continued expansion in key markets in India.Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, executive vice president, Real Estate & Development, IHCL, stated, “Gurgaon’s strategic location, coupled with its proximity to industrial corridors and Delhi-NCR, has made it a thriving commercial hub. This new development will offer a premium experience that caters to the diverse segments including both MICE and weddings. We are delighted to partner with Tivoli Group to develop this hotel.”The hotel will feature 225 spacious guest rooms and suites, each designed with an emphasis on luxury and comfort. Guests can indulge in a variety of culinary delights at the hotel’s all-day diner, bar, specialty restaurant, and multipurpose lounge. Additionally, the hotel will boast extensive banqueting and meeting facilities along with recreational amenities such as a gym, a spa, a swimming pool, and a social garden.Armaan Gupta, executive director, Tivoli Group said, “We are excited to partner with IHCL for this project. Taj at Sohna Road will cater to the growing demand for luxury hospitality experiences.”Gurugram, with its strategic location near NCR has catalysed its transformation into a corporate hub, attracting BPOs, IT companies, and multinational corporations. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 6 hotels in Haryana including 2 under development.Armaan Gupta, executive director of Tivoli Group, has set new standards in the field of resort hotels and is spearheading the expansion plans of the group along with his father, Puneet Gupta, MD and Founder of Tivoli Group.Gupta has extensively planned this development in Sohna, South of Gurgaon, by engaging the topmost foreign architects and planning a unique design to match the location, which offers peace & tranquility with its surrounding views of the Aravali Hills, offering guests an escape from the busy city life to find time to connect with nature.
