Fleet Space Technologies, Australia’s premier space exploration company, has announced the construction of its new Global Headquarters (GHQ) and Hyper Factory at Adelaide Airport. This cutting-edge facility is set to revolutionize space and climate technologies, enabling the rapid scaling of Fleet Space’s AI-powered exploration platform, ExoSphere.

Pioneering Next-Gen Space & AI Technologies

The GHQ will house advanced manufacturing and data center technologies, dramatically increasing Fleet Space’s production capacity. The facility is designed to manufacture thousands of smart sensors and hundreds of satellites annually, creating hundreds of new jobs in South Australia. It will also serve as the base for ExoCore, Fleet Space’s AI supercomputer dedicated to accelerating energy transition mineral discovery through cutting-edge AI and seismic technologies.

2025: Fleet Space’s Ten Year Anniversary

“Today marks a significant leap into the future for Fleet Space and Australian innovation, as we continue our mission to build revolutionary frontier technologies that address the dual challenges of climate change and space exploration, from the heart of South Australia. What began as a bold vision ten years ago when we founded Fleet Space has grown into a global force transforming the future of exploration on Earth and beyond,” said Co-Founder & CEO, Flavia Tata Nardini.

“The tremendous evolution of Australia’s innovation ecosystem charts a clear path for Australia’s ascendancy in space, climate technologies, and artificial intelligence. With our new GHQ at Adelaide Airport, we’re strategically positioned to continue our exponential growth and development of cutting-edge technologies, paving the way for a more sustainable future on Earth, while furthering humanity’s exploration of new worlds.”

A Global Hub for Space & Climate Innovation

With a focus on decarbonization and net-zero targets, Fleet Space’s GHQ will integrate research and development labs, 3D printing, satellite operations, and a data center. The facility will support Fleet Space’s low Earth orbit satellite network and enhance its ExoSphere platform, already used by over 40 major exploration companies, including Rio Tinto, Barrick, Gold Fields, and Ma’aden, to locate critical minerals across five continents.

The GHQ’s unveiling follows Fleet Space’s acquisition of HiSeis, a world leader in active seismic exploration technology, reinforcing the company’s mission to fast-track sustainable, data-driven mineral discovery. Fleet Space is also collaborating with Koloma to accelerate the development of zero-carbon energy sources.

“GHQ is the forerunner for the next-gen manufacturing model needed to unlock and scale the space, climate, and AI-powered technologies our planet needs to get back on track for net-zero,” said Chief Exploration Officer, Matt Pearson. “The powerful new capabilities emerging from a deep convergence of frontier technologies in space, climate, and AI are foundational to achieving our clean energy future. Getting there requires a vertically integrated manufacturing model optimised for the rapid advances in these technologies. GHQ is Fleet Space’s bold first step, and we hope industries around the world pursue similar models to support the innovation needed for our decarbonised future.”

Frontier Technology Incubator & Lunar Exploration

The 5,300m²+ facility will fully integrate Fleet Space’s supply chain, R&D, engineering, and manufacturing, allowing its world-class team to push the boundaries of space and mineral exploration.

In 2026, Fleet Space will make history with SPIDER, its lunar exploration technology, set to search for water ice on the Moon as part of Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost Mission 2. Additionally, Fleet Space recently secured a Moon to Mars Supply Chain Grant from the Australian Government to advance gravity sensing for planetary exploration.

On SpaceX’s Bandwagon-1 and Transporter-12 missions, Fleet Space launched its most advanced satellites – Centauri VI, VII, and VIII, enhancing ExoSphere’s Earth exploration capabilities.

Strengthening South Australia’s Space Industry

Located at Adelaide Airport, the GHQ cements South Australia’s status as Australia’s leading space hub. Following a record-breaking AUD$150M Series D funding round, which more than doubled Fleet Space’s valuation to AUD$800M, the company continues to collaborate with global space pioneers, scientists, and technologists.

Fleet Space partners with MIT Media Lab’s Space Exploration Initiative for off-world mission planning and with Stanford University’s Mineral-X to decarbonize mineral supply chains using space-enabled technologies.

Adelaide Airport: Catalyst Park

“We’re proud to welcome Fleet Space to Catalyst Park at Adelaide Airport and to be developing their new global headquarters and hyper factory to meet their specific needs,” said Adelaide Airport Managing Director, Brenton Cox. “As the developer of this state-of-the-art facility, we’re excited to support a pioneering South Australian company at the forefront of space and exploration technologies.”

“This project underscores Adelaide Airport’s commitment to driving innovation and growth with our business partners. With Catalyst Park continuing to expand, Fleet Space is precisely the forward-thinking, dynamic type of business that can take advantage of the unique opportunities Adelaide Airport has to offer.”

Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators

GHQ will also drive STEM education growth, launching LaunchBox, an expert-led initiative enabling Australian students to build and test educational satellites. This program will inspire future engineers and scientists, fostering a culture of innovation in South Australia.

With GHQ, Fleet Space is setting a new benchmark in space, AI, and mineral exploration, shaping the future of sustainable resource discovery and interplanetary exploration.
