Avelo Airlines is set to broaden its low-cost offerings with the addition of 13 new routes and three exciting new destinations. With one-way fares starting at just $39, the airline is making travel more accessible and affordable for budget-conscious passengers.
The newly added destinations include Nassau, Bahamas (NAS), Grand Rapids, Michigan (GRR), and Long Island, New York (ISP). This expansion increases Avelo’s network to 56 cities across 23 states, Puerto Rico, and four international locations: the Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.

The latest expansion from Avelo Airlines introduces 13 new routes that will be operated by Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft, offering passengers efficiency and reliability.

- Nassau, Bahamas (NAS): Starting June 11, 2025, nonstop flights to Nassau will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Grand Rapids, Michigan (GRR): Service to Grand Rapids will begin on May 23, 2025, with flights on Mondays and Fridays.
- Wilmington, Delaware/Philadelphia area (ILG): Starting May 22, 2025, Avelo will provide service to this region twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
New Routes from Lakeland International Airport (LAL)
Two new nonstop routes will be added from Lakeland International Airport (LAL) in Central Florida:
- Grand Rapids, Michigan (GRR): Flights to Grand Rapids will commence on June 13, 2025, operating Mondays and Fridays.
- Long Island, New York (ISP): Nonstop service to Long Island will begin on June 12, 2025, with flights on Thursdays and Sundays.
New Routes from Wilmington International Airport (ILM)
Wilmington International Airport (ILM) in Coastal Carolina will see four new nonstop routes:
- Houston, Texas (HOU): Starting June 11, 2025, Avelo will operate flights to Houston with service on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Washington, D.C. – Dulles (IAD): Flights to Dulles will begin on June 13, 2025, with service on Mondays and Fridays.
- Detroit, Michigan (DTW): Service to Detroit will begin on June 12, 2025, operating Thursdays and Sundays.
- Long Island, New York (ISP): Flights to Long Island will also begin on June 12, 2025, operating on Thursdays and Sundays.
New Routes from Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA)
Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA) will benefit from three new nonstop routes:
- Detroit, Michigan (DTW): Flights to Detroit will start on June 13, 2025, with service on Mondays and Fridays.
- Washington, D.C. – Dulles (IAD): Service to Dulles will begin on May 23, 2025, with flights available on Mondays and Fridays.
- Long Island, New York (ISP): Flights to Long Island will begin on May 22, 2025, operating on Thursdays and Sundays.
New Route from Wilmington Airport (ILG)
Avelo will also launch a new nonstop route from Wilmington Airport (ILG) to Jacksonville, Florida (JAX):
- Jacksonville, Florida (JAX): Starting May 23, 2025, Avelo will operate flights on Mondays and Fridays.
