Abu Dhabi partners with Nova Sky Stories and Analog to launch a pioneering drone-powered storytelling initiative, blending culture and technology in immersive displays.
Abu Dhabi is set to redefine immersive storytelling through a pioneering partnership between the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), U.S.-based Nova Sky Stories, and Emirati technology leader Analog. The collaboration, endorsed by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, aims to blend cutting-edge drone technology with cultural narratives, establishing Abu Dhabi as a global leader in entertainment innovation.
As part of this multi-year agreement, the initiative will introduce the world’s most advanced fleet of 10,000 light-show drones—the first of its kind in the region. These synchronized performances will transform Abu Dhabi’s skyline into a living canvas, bringing heritage and futuristic storytelling to iconic locations across the emirate.
Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of DCT Abu Dhabi, emphasized the transformative impact of the project, stating, “By integrating advanced technologies, we are revolutionizing the way we share Abu Dhabi’s vision and culture. This partnership will challenge creative boundaries, delivering awe-inspiring experiences that elevate our global standing in cultural and entertainment innovation.”
Kimbal Musk, CEO and Co-Founder of Nova Sky Stories, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting, “Abu Dhabi is leading the way in immersive entertainment, housing the largest and most advanced fleet of light drones in the world.
